Rookie boy group TUNEXX sends its first signal to the world.
Tunex (Donggyu, Inhu, Tyra, Seongjun, Zeon, Sihwan, Arctic) will make their surprise debut by releasing their first mini album 'SET BY US ONLY' through various online music sites at 6 PM on the 3rd.
'SET BY US ONLY' is Tunex's debut album containing a free and bold attitude. Donggyu, Inhu, Sihwan, Artik, and new faces Zeon, Tyra, and Seongjun, who made their faces known on Mnet's 'Boys 2 Planet', showed their strong determination with high-quality music and performances.
In particular, the name Tunex is a combination of the signature keyword ‘TUNE’ and the two meanings of ‘X (Unclassified / Cross)’, and contains the meaning of expanding one’s own territory by crossing boundaries rather than staying within a set framework. Like the team slogan ‘TUNE IN TO OUR FREQUENCY’, Tunex plans to draw a differentiated growth narrative by matching the frequency with fans.
The title song 'Proof that I'm Alive' is an electronic hip-hop track that clearly shows Tunex's identity. Members Dong-gyu, Zeon, and Si-hwan participated in writing the lyrics and sang a strong message with direct and original expressions, 'Even if I look different, I will shout out that I am alive in my own way.' The debut stage heralds Tunex's unique energy with a sophisticated and groovy performance.
In addition, this album consists of a total of 4 songs of various genres, including '100%', another hip-hop track in which Donggyu, Zeon, and Sihwan participated in the lyrics, 'Obsessed', which stands out with sensuous vocals and rap, and 'Twenty Something', which is expected to take a leap forward with the band's sound.
Tunex, armed with confidence and ambition, will make its official debut today (3rd) at 6 PM, and will unveil its first stage through a fan showcase at 8 PM on the same day.
