Rookie boy group TUNEXX raised expectations for their debut by additionally revealing the concept of their first mini album.
Tunex (Donggyu, Inhu, Tyra, Seongjun, Xeon, Sihwan, Arctic) sequentially released the mood film and concept photo of the ‘US ONLY’ version of their first mini album ‘SET BY US ONLY’ through their official SNS at midnight on the 15th and 16th.
While the previously released ‘UNSET’ version captured a free atmosphere in natural light, this ‘US ONLY’ version revealed another side of the team with a more hip and conceptual mood. The graffiti-filled space and sensuous noise sound left a strong impression, emphasizing Tunex's unique energy.
In particular, the members used ‘frequency’ as a visual object to express the team’s identity. Through the image of seven different colors coming together as a single signal, the teamwork and direction achieved by combining each individual's individuality is symbolically expressed.
The stable visual composition and natural chemistry of the seven members also attract attention. Expectations for the stage were raised, foreshadowing the performance with just leisurely gestures and eye contact.
In addition, following the prologue, the unique numbers of Tunex members were captured through this US ONLY mood film. Dong-gyu 000, In-hu 001, Tyra 005, Seong-jun 088, Xeon 007, Si-hwan 017, and Artik 009 are raising questions about what special meaning was put into each unique number.
‘SET BY US ONLY’ is the first mini-album of the boy group Tunex, newly released by IST Entertainment. Members Donggyu, Jeon, and Sihwan participated in writing lyrics for the title song ‘Proof that I’m Alive’ and the b-side song ‘100%’, directly capturing the team’s colors.
